Rochester Rundown:

Rochester 2, Columbus 1 (10 Innings)

Clutch hitting and Ryan Mullins’ well-pitched seven-inning outing helped propel the Redwings to a thrilling ten-inning victory. Mullins pitched seven innings while allowing one earned on five hits while walking two. He had four strike outs.
Anthony Slama came in during the 8th where he found himself in trouble, but still pitch two scoreless innings. Kyle Waldrop pitched a scoreless tenth and picked up the win. Ft. Myers Flashback:

Game 1:

Ft. Myers 0, Palm Beach 1

The only story in this game is the phenomenal performance of the Aussie,
Liam Hendriks. Hendriks pitched 6.1 IP and gave up one unearned run while allowing eight hits. He struck out seven while walking none. The Miracle’s offense struggle with only two hits

Game 2:

Ft. Myers 1 , Palm Beach 12

The highly anticipated comeback of Bruce Pugh has a sour ending. Pugh was making his first start since coming off the DL with a strain in his elbow. Pugh 1.1 innings and gave up seven runs, but only three earned. A bright spot is that three of his four outs were strikeouts.  Nick Romero was 3-3 and knocked in the only run of the game.

Coastal Check-up:

GCL Twins 8, GCL Orioles 4

The GL Twins opened up their 2010 season with a decisive win of the Orioles, but that is not the story of this game. All eyes were on Max Kepler as he made his debut on US soil. He played well, was 3-5 with a double and also knocking in three runners. Pedro Guerra, also making his US debut, pitched five one-hit innings. Wander Guillen went 2-4 playing third base.
