Avalanche Acquires Matt Hunwick

The Colorado Avalanche have announced that they've completed a trade with the Boston Bruins.

Matt Hunwick will be moving to Colorado while Avs prospect Colby Cohen will likely be headed to Providence to meet up with the AHL Bruins.

I'd have more on this, but it's been a very long day and while I'd like to share my thoughts with my readers about how I don't like this trade for the Avs, I'm just going to go to sleep instead.

However, I do have to say that after seeing Hunwick play in Boston for the last few years, he's a good young player. But I think Cohen will be the better of the two in the long run.

But that's just me.
